Akuma as a Dethereal Serpent, 'standing' protectively with Nanakyi as she howls.. For 's contest. The scanner killed the detail and the brilliance of the colors >< Either that or my computer.. (things always appear darker) Or maybe it's both.. *sighs* I hope you like.. am going to post the original sketch some time later in the week.. I dont have the time to now.

And I just realized the realitive size between Akuma and Nanakyi is all wrong o_O sorry >< Had I more time I'd have drawn you in full form rather than wolf.. This actually took me a good while to do.. I know your eye patch and yin-yang sign arent too visible they wouldnt fit so well >< *shuts up before she thinks of anything else she did wrong*

Length- 30 feet

Physical Traits- Four plates on the bridge of his nose, one for each direction- North, South, East and West. East and West consisting of warm colors because they are the directions that the sun rests in. Three horns/spikes on his chin, the middle one being the largest (the third is not visible in this pic.) The first two horns on his nose are thin and knife like (Like Nanakyi's) The Third oddly curved one is more rounded, mostly at the bottom as it tappers out. The two largest horns are thin and knife like, slightly rounded and thicker at the base. The two small ones to follow are thick and rounded coming to sharp abrupt points. The 'white cap' on the top of his head is known to emit a soft light. The webbing of the ears is tough and sturdy despite it's transparencey. The main of his body is deep red- blood red. The under belly laid with deep yellow and gold. The back frill starts with two small spikes, the second being the larger of the two, which then extends to six other larger frills- one for each element, Water, Earth, Wood, Fire, Metal and Air. Like the ears the frill is tough and tick, yet transparent and glows brilliantly when light shines through it. Mainly colored in reds it also holds deep oranges and is rimmed in deep brilliant yellows. The frills are ruffeled on the backs, on the inside curves they remain sharp and slightly serrated. The frills are nicely balance between strength and flexibility allowing for lots of abuse with out restricting movement. The four ending frills at the end of his body & tail once more represent the four directions and are more brighter colored than the first six.

Hair on head/neck and tail is fire colored, based with reds and orange and slightly transparent. The hair on the head is streaked with deep rich yellow which appears more towards the 'scalp' as opposed to the tail fril where the yellow is based more to the ends of the hairs.

His markings are not semetrical. The silver patch is a shadow of Nanakyi Night-Singer. One of her tails remains on either side of his body. The side shown above is Nanakyi's back, the head streching upwards perhaps in a howl. After this a yin-yang follows, and then a dark 'dripping' patch representing dark blood or darkness as it comes and goes in all of our lives.. some times we push it.. some times it pushes us. A bronze colored diamond on the tail starts the frill- In Dragon form Akuma's tail ends in a glittering black emerald which continually grows though out his life and is a highly sought jewel.

About Akuma- Akuma was born in an IM between , and myself. He was made by me and first appeared as a wolf-pup but that has not stopped him from appearing in other forms. Reguardless of form, Akuma is always based in red with black, his eyes are always a brilliant fire-gold. I cant explain who or what he is, he was born of fire and raised in shadow, his nature is dark but he is not 'evil'. He is a dark spirit whom lives within the light. He feeds from pain and despair, thus in this world he never goes hungry. He understands and knows his nature and knows that he is unlike anyone else and most like shunned and hated from all. He is able to absorb pain, physical or emotional which has some wound-healing effects to whomever may be hurt. In return, although he likes and enjoys pain, the wounds may appear on Akuma for him to carry. He shares and bears the wounds of those cloest to him -Thus why he is fashioned after Nankyi in some ways (All of which have not been noted ) Akuma is a wandering spirit, his age is undetermined and it's possible he's as old as time himself. Akuma was named by NightTracker and though all his timeless travels, he is closest to me, NightTracker, Sabrewolfscythe, Sabre's Kali, and now.. he's with you too Nanakyi.

** Smooth and soundless the beast moves. Though air, through water, through time and beyond. Despite all he has seen, each glance at the world was like he was opening his eyes for the very first time. He could sense her spirit. A beautiful glow was coming to him from out across the vastness and he tasted it ever so slightly with each of his senses and knew it to be her. He heard the calling, silent as it was, knew the tears that did not know how to fall and felt all the pain and distraught that ever was and ever would be within such a beautiful soul.

He sneered. Hateful for the ways of the world, hateful for the pain that enslewed so many, hateful for himself and his unearthly nature. His body slid forth though the air, glittering and glowing in the light. When he was near enough he called out low and soft to her and stood over her, beside her, all around her encirling her with his presence. Protective, strong, ready and willing to share or even take away what hurt her.

Sweet Night-Singer.. He would rip out his own heart if e had one.. if it would help her to heal. Gently, softly he made a sound deep within his chest.. not quite a purr.. but some crooning sound of peacefulness.**
